I am a Registered Nurse and psychotherapist, specializing in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). I have 10 years of experience as a nurse, with 7+ years in the community setting. I am dedicated to empowering individuals along their journey of healing and self- discovery. I started my professional psychotherapy journey by creating “Thrive Over Survive” in 2023 with a goal to help bridge the gap for mental health services in our community by offering accessible, inclusive and client centred services. I have embraced this goal by offering in person and virtual sessions, reduced income sessions & my Pay It Forward fund. My dream has always been to create an inclusive community support system to assist every woman, mother and parent in gaining the tools and knowledge to thrive in parenthood and not just survive it.
I first became passionate about supporting mental health and mothers in our community after my own experience with Postpartum Anxiety & Depression in 2021 following the birth of my first son. I know first- hand the challenges & overwhelming feelings that are a part of balancing our needs, work, marriage and raising tiny humans. I also acknowledge that every individual’s journey is unique and I am committed to providing a personalized approach to care. Whatever YOUR goals are, I am here with you every step of the way!
I am SO excited to have joined forces with Mellow Mama Massage & I can’t wait to bring you more amazing services to better support you along your parenting journey!
